The “Waves of Life” series

When we strip it down to its primary source, we are all made of the same essence, always shaping
a bigger picture than our ego can ever grasps.

Influenced by the principles of Zen Buddhism, Tina Loeffler is an abstract expressionist born 1986 and currently based in Germany, known for her ongoing series of Chinese ink drawings „Waves of Life“. Focusing on the markings that every living being  leaves in its life circle, countless strokes represent consciously being in the present in a meditative and dedicated kind of state, symbolizing devotional action and inner contemplation. Drawn with a twig on paper, every single drawing of the series reflects our actions and thoughts which shape an ever-changing landscape of reality.
